We are looking for a Contracts Manager/Estimator to join our team in North Wales. You ideally are an experienced Manager with a background in Structural Steel fabrication and installation. This role would suit someone that has gained considerable experience in the structural steel industry that is looking for a new challenge.
The ideal candidate will be highly commercially aware and have the authority and confidence to run a number of simultaneous projects. Working alongside the workshop foreman and site managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
The role includes:
- Liaising with clients to establish their requirements
- Reading engineers drawings & estimating for structural steel projects
- Liaising with suppliers, steel procurement and ordering.
- Managing projects
- Maximising the opportunities with our existing customer-base.
You ideally are;
- Literate in the use of Microsoft including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have a Knowledge of AutoCAD/Tekla
- Have an ability to manage leads & opportunities
- Understand how to manage works in budgets and on program
- Have a full clean driving licence
